Just curious to see how many of you guys have this as your fight song. Seems like everybody's fight song (so far, I've heard us, John Burroughs, and Chino HS play it)

"On Wisconsin" huh?

That's San Benito HS's fight song...I don't know how long they've had it, but I agree that it seems like everyone uses that one! Glad to see we're not alone.

My alma mater's fight song was an adaptation of 'When the Saints go Marching In" Back when I was there, it was appropriate that we played a New Orleans funeral dirge before the football team took the field  .

Back when I was at Paramount High School, 35 years ago, On Wisconsin was our fight song too. But I honestly don't know if they still use it.

I'm VERY proud to say Pasadena HS didn't stoop to STEALING college fight songs. We had our very own. But out of sheer boredom, in my senior year, we started alternating using UCLA's, just so our stupid screamer trumpets could hit the high F at the end after the big ritard.

During that center part of the UCLA fight song we were a little confused about what to yell, since we were a THREE LETTER school (PHS)...P clap clap clap H clap clap clap S clap clap clap Uhhhhhhhhh clap clap clap, PHSUHHHHH FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!

I remember playing this beautiful piece of music at Simi Valley HS back in the long ago days of yore...

Way, way, way back at my very first job in Lompoc (that's right Lompoc, you gotta problem with that?) our fight song was On Wisconsin it was also the fight song at cross town rival Cabrillo. Go figure.

When I was a student at Fountain Valley we played "Minnesota Rouser". Our OTHER fight song was "Song of the Barons" it was an adaptation of the "Song of the Vagabonds" from "The Vagabond King" by Rudolf Friml It's one of the few (only?) fight songs in a minor key.

At Livermore HS we play the "Marines Hymn" (really).

LOMPOC!!!!!!! Haaaaaaaaa hahaha...uh...oh....sorry.

That's ok.

My first drill design job for a high school was....Coachella Valley. And I still have a copy of it. The school was literally...out in the boonies.
