What Pieces are you playing this year?
Moderator: Hostrauser
Personally, I like the piece, that I know at least one band this year is playing, Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night. I love this piece. I also like a newer song called Invictus. Well, that is all. I also like the piece Into the Raging River, and Cajun Folk Songs. These are all great songs, but Do Not Go Gentle, is by far my far my favorite piece ever. If you get a chance to listen to it, then I suggest it. Also, First and Second suites by Holst are extremely good.

Trumpet man I believe that you are referring to the San Bernardino All County Honor Band. They played four really great pieces. They played, "American Riversongs," "Life Dances," "October," and "The Legend of Alcobaca." All four of these sounded great, and if I was wearing a hat, I would tip it to all of those that participated in the event. Congratulations.

Is your band playing the original third movement from the Legend of Alcobaca? It is called Dom Pedro's Revenge. I was just wondering.Upcoming concerts to be selected from:

There is another piece. It was originally not allowed on the market, but I believe it was just recently allowed, because I played it this past month with the San Bernadino All County Honor Band. It is called Dom Pedro'e revenge, and is in 3/8 if I remeber correctly.
