Cali weather

Post by DJ-PsiLon » Tue Feb 25, 2003 5:45 pm

So last night it comes down like crazy then this morning it's sunny. I just hope my spring break is nice and sunny back home in San Diego.

Thank God for wind/water-proof jackets! I'm glad we're finally seeing some rain down here, I just wish I could stay home nice and cozy!

I'm happy about the rain too but it's really interferring now so i'm gonna have to say it needs to go. I was happy with change but if we have no where to practice our Winter Guard show, then we can't practice outside like usual cuz it's raining! And also i walk to school and there's usually (if it's raining) a huge river that i have to cross and i HATE it...i could get swept away...

Anticipating the cold i wore a sweatshirt yesterday and baked! Then today i wore a short sleeve shirt and froze! GAH!

And it dosnt really help that i leave for guard every morning at 6:30am so its cold either way...normal people get dressed when the sun has actually risen and have a better idea of what the weather is going to be! lol

I like the rain, but I kind of wish the weather would make up it's mind and rain or not rain instead of raining one day, then not, or raining for a hour and then the next day at a different time.

Sorry I have to laugh, Right now I am at Montana State University and I go to class in negative degrees everyday. I am from california and when it droped below 50 we would wear our winter coats, now at 19 deg. out I am wearing a t-shirts and jeans just to put it in perseptive. Don't take it as a complaint, I absoutly love it up here, one of the few schools where you can taking skiing as a class, and have a sleding hill in your courtyard. But you don't know what cold is until you frezz your hair!

My favorite type of weather to march in is as such...

Overcast, maybe even just a little foggy. No wind or even a breeze, with a slight dampness to the air, and even just the slightest bite of cold (69 degrees).

It just get me better in the mood to march and play like a maniac...
Back to my training...

I love the weather in the fall when it's in the mid-70's with a slight breeze. Plus it's so pretty with the leaves changing colors. *sigh*

I love it when you can wear shorts, a t-shirt and flip flops in the middle of winter, only to wear jeans, a jacket, and long sleeve shirt back up in NorCal. Glad I'm not there right now =) or the central valley, it's always foggy there.
