Check out Memphis Sound!!!!!

Check the Memphis Sound website out www.memphisdrumcorps.org. They're
doing the Metropolis symphony(written as a tribute to Superman I
think). You can watch a clip from the last camp of the opener, as well
as listen to the arrangements for some of the other parts. The
ballad(Red Cape Tango) is very similar to the Bluecoats 2001
arrangement(which, I think, was the best D1 ballad that year). I don't
know much about the horn staff, but Kevin Tabb is percussion caption
head, who marched tenors at Madison Scouts the two City of Angels
years, and at University of Memphis when they won PASIC. He has worked
with the Colts, Capital Regiment, and does Houston High School(WGI 2
time world finalists). I played for him at Houston and now play at
Northwestern University where Lane Armey(BlueQ-the bluecoats tenor
line) is the instructor. I'll be marching snare for Memphis Sound this
summer, spread the hype, come to the next camp(Feb. 14-16), or check
us out this summer. If you have any questions my email is
k-weghorst@northwestern.edu
See you guys this summer
