Ncba Top 5

Post by LTL'98 » Sun Nov 07, 2004 11:37 am

Okay lets hear it, I've been dying to know everyone's favorite top 5 NCBA drumlines this year.

Heres mine in no particular order

- Benicia
- Vallejo
- Fairfield
- Foothill
- Jessie Bethal tied with Hogan

Honorable mentions go out to
Granite Bay
Vintage

Okay so I broke my own rules, but I made them.... so two way ties are okay. Really though, I'd love to hear from every on this one.

Fairfield
Foothill
Bethel
Benicia
Granite Bay

Theres mine in no specific order. Havent really heard much of Vallejo or Hogans show so i cant really put them up there. I know Fairfield is pretty crazy this year. I know Foothills pretty hot and i know Granite Bay is doing well this year. Bethel i put up there cuz i know their scores are pretty good and Benicias up there cuz damn......they got a 92 at Pacific Grove......gotta say....they look pretty good this year...... its them crazy tap shoes

Fairfield's the best I've seen on street by far this fall.....although I dig the flamenco tap shoes of Benicia.
1- Fairfield
2- Foothill
3- Granite Bay
4- Benicia
5- ??? insert about 10 lines here

On field, I've haven't had one line reach out and grab me, though I would have to say Granite Bay's line has the best total package (movement and drill)...not terribly clean yet. Foothill and Leigh are decent as well.

by the way....did anyone else notice that a lot of lines are doing latin on the street this year?

Foothill - Malagueña, Fairfield - (not sure, but it's latin), Benicia - (the whole Flamenco thing)

Just thought it was interesting that the top groups at least seem to be doing Latin music.

I'm wondering, how has Madera been doing on the field this year?

Thanks

I'm not sure about field, but I think they got 3rd in parade in the Pacific Grove show last Saturday.
