Guard Scores--2004--SCSBOA--Yowza

Post by Ryan H. Turner » Mon Oct 11, 2004 11:35 pm

So...to all the hard-working SCSBOA guard judges that "lurk" about, don't read into this any deeper than you should, or you'll go nuts and get mad for no reason.

But man oh man...the guard scores so far this year on the field are REALLY low...are there new standards on the sheets or something, or is this just an off year for guards...

Hey Ryan-
I'm just giving you heads up...I'm moving this into Colorguards.
Thanks!

Dear Mr. Turner,

My former instructor knows you from WGASC. He now teaches at Temickula. He sez that the scores are low because the score sheets allow for progress through the season. "No one can be that great the first time out!" he sez. Maybe all the guards don't have all with their work?

OK...sounds good to me...just seemed lower than "normal" and wasn't sure what was happening...
