Summit Drum Line Audition Workshop this Sunday

Summit Indoor Drum Line from Reno/Sparks, NV will hold a workshop this SUUNDAY (September 19) from 9am (registration) until 3pm at Nevada Performing Arts, 1295 Greg Street, Sparks, NV 89435. This is an opportunity for interested drummer to learn about Summit's program, meet some of the staff and DRUM!

This workshop is for snares, basses and tenors. The next workshop (OCTOBER 17) will include all pattery, pit, set players, bass guitar players and electric guitar players.

Interested drummers who cannot make this workshop can attend in October or arrange auditions via video.

AUDITIONS ARE NOVEMBER 6,7,8. Check the website for details.

The second workshop for Summit Indoor Drum Line from Reno/Sparks, Nevada will be Sunday, October 17, 2004 from 10:00am until 3:00pm. This workshop will include all battery (snare, bass, tenor, cymbal) and all pit (including mallets, auxilary, electric bass, electric guitar, drum set).

There is a $25 workshop and audition fee which will be applied to member's first member fee payment.

Summit Indoor Drum Line will compete in the California Color Guard Circuit, Centeral Valley Guard and Percussion Circuit and attend the WGI Hayward Regional as well as WGi World Championships.

Come workout with staff from Vanguard, Blue Devils, Pacific Crest, Troopers, The Cadets and more!

Percussionists interested in auditioning but who cannot make the workshops or auditionis on November 5-6-7 should contact Brent Cooper at bcooper@sumit-youth-arts.org for information on video and alternate auditions.
