To give high school seniors a chance at an evaluation before the official fall drumline auditions, the RCC Percussion Staff will host an evening of drumming on Wednesday, May 26 from 6pm-10pm.
Plan to arrive early to find a parking spot near the Huntley Gym, on the lower level of the campus. The night is intended for potential new BATTERY members for the upcoming fall marching band season, including current high school seniors and recent graduates who have never marched at RCC. Registration will begin at 5:30pm and the evaluation fee is $5 for this evening clinic session. Various members of the staff will conduct sessions in marching and playing, including Sean Vega, Paul Locke and Jennifer Swanek. For more information, call Gary Locke at (909) 222-8294.
