My fellow bari players, just wondering what you guys played on. Your horn, mouthpiece, and reed.

I still haven't bought a jazz mouthpiece (I'm still playing with the basic Yamaha 5C mouthpiece!). At the moment, I'm just using a Buescher bari sax (good-looking horn with a nice case) that belongs to the school and is about 2-3 years old, and Vandoren reeds. Once I can find a jazz mouthpiece somewhere and buy it, I'll go up the next level. :)

What do you play on, bariMADNESS?

i play on La Voz "Hard" reeds, with an Otto Link Metal 8 Mouthpiece (for jazz and marching season) and use some immitation Selmer C* for concert, and my horn is an old YBS52 from the school.

I prefer the almighty Meyer 8. Hard rubber all the way! I really don't like metal very much, and Otto Link metals even moreso. However, I do sometimes use a Berg Larson metal on my tenor...

But anyway, Meyer 8 with Vandoren 3 1/2 reeds.

Obviously, the 'J' is for Jesbo.
And the 'B', well...that's for Burnination

i use la voz medium reeds and a berg larson 110/2 mouthpiece. its a good combo. the la voz reeds are awesome because they are the quality of vandoren but way cheaper :)

Yeah, i know what you mean about the otto link, i'm probably gonna sell it and get a berg larson metal to replace it
