First off Jordan it's Soli's, second off why is the topic sax soli's and then you poll about which soli's are best for which section.
I think this is more of a duet(well two tenor sax soloists) then a Soli but worth mentioning none the less.

As a trumpet, I am naturally biased twoard trumpet things... However, I believe it was Maynard who said something to effect "The essentials for a band are trumpet, guitar, and set."
So, I do like set, guitar (electric or bass), and piano solis. But there needs to be some sort of horn whether it be sax or trumpet or even trombone to give it another dimension and layer.
I've seen trombone/euphonium choirs and they're pretty good. Really nice harmony stuff and contrary motion stuff...I like it !
Haven't heard any sax solis so I don't have an opinion on those, but I guess it would work as long as it wasn't all altos... but an alto, tenor, bari soli would be kind of cool...but the bari gotta be down low... yeah...

There is a really cool sax soli at the beggining of a song called Tad Boppin. It's based on the changes to Ladybird.

Obviously, the 'J' is for Jesbo.
And the 'B', well...that's for Burnination
