2003 Yamato Workshop/Audition Information

Yamato Drum and Bugle Corps announces multi-day Workshop/Auditions for Brass, Battery and Pit Percussion starting Sunday, January 12, 2003 at Riverside Community College. Registration begins at 9:30am and Workshop starting at 10am. For more information, visit our website at http://www.yamatodrumcorps.org/news/

Yamato Drum and Bugle Corps is currently accepting 2003 Membership Applications On-Line via their website. Get registered to receive information about Yamato's 2003 Season, as well as pre-season Workshop and Auditions for Battery, Pit Percussion, Brass and Color Guard.

Yamato's 2003 show is, "Las variaciones en Temas españoles", (Variations on Spanish Themes). Original music will be composed by John Meehan and Scott Johnson using a collage of themes from music by Bizet, Gordon Matthew Sumner, and Manuel de Falla.

Location Verification

For location verification:

Riverside Community College is located just off the 91 freeway in Riverside, CA.
Exit off 14th street.
If you are driving on the 91 East, you will want to turn left when you exit.
If you are driving on the 91 West, you will want to turn right when you exit.

At the second light (Olivewood Ave.), turn left. You will see RCC on your right side.
Turn right at City College Drive and turn right at the first driveway (Saunders St.).

The Huntley Gym will be on your right side (across the street from the soccer/band field). You can park either in Parking lot G or Parking lot L.

Here's a map of Riverside Community College. Huntley Gym is building 12.

Riverside is only 30 minutes from San Bernardino and about 1 hour from Orange and L.A. counties.
