I think since california budget cuts are getting rid of music programs... there will be no feeder schools left up here in nor cal.
no longer dealing with high school ^_^

the jr high bands have already been cut of more than half their budget in my town... their budget was already low enough as it is.....
no longer dealing with high school ^_^

actually with the budget cuts, i believe it's actually affecting all (or most) of the schools in california.

yeah our Warner middle school drumline is mostly run on donation, candy sales, and what not... but the school district still gives us a little money for an instructor and stuff. But we have a lot of volenteers from the High School drumline (like me) that come down and help the little kids out ... theres no pay but its worth it... With two Middle school lines now, our drumline has tripled it sized since my freshman year. My freshman year, the battery was 2S 1T 4B... now my junior year is gonna be 6S, 4t, and 5B and a bigger pit... so the hard work pays off :-D
There is nothing more scary than a kid with an internet connection.
