Whats the longest you ever played a drum?
Like you know been in pit for 3 years or plzyed snare for 10000000 years. So yeah let me know.
2001 - 4th bass (Troy)
2002 - 3rd bass(winter)
2002 - 4th bass
2003 - pit (winter)
2003 - 4th bass (El Dorado)
2004 - Bass Captain!!!!!

I'm pretty acient I guess.. I started playing percussion in 6th grade... still playing... hm thats been about 10-11 years I think... lol...
here's the break down..
6th-8th grade- percussion in concert band
9th-12th front ensemble/pit/front line (whatever you want to call it) mostly mallets... marched cymbals in parade to... fun fun...
after high school kinda stopped the whole marching scene and concentrated on concert... so yea.. there you have it...

hmm i have played since 5th which would make 7 years for me. Beginner, 2nd year, intermediate, advanced, jazz, marching, jazz again, concert, winter drumline, marching, jazz again, winter drumline again, outside of school bands, marching, symphonic, and now outside of school band again and percussion ensemble. All in that order mostly lasting one semester so there ya have it.
