Fantasia is wonderful, always a favorite.
Raiders is outstanding, pure favorite!!
Esperanza is good. I love the effects they have. Like the stools
Corona is good also...i like the others .. the kept me entertained..thats my opinion

Indi. Open
Orion is great. Shake that! But they didnt exite me in the idea of work. They have a good theme and performance but work...?

Esperanza has cool costumes work is good, i like their show.

Raiders. Good,.. i think they deserved more, work looked clean and great, they deserved a higher score like i said

CONGRATULATIONS to all the guards that participated in the Fresno Power Regional! This weekend turned out to be an exciting one.

Congrats to all the units that have made the post-block and block scores!

FANTASIA!!!!

"It would be nice to disappear..."

ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE THIS GROUP: BEAUTIFUL!

This show is VERY intense... got me all teared up in the end. Simply outstanding.
One mo again.

ya i really liked Fantasias show. It was really sad words to the song/poem. It was really impressive how they were all together despite the fact that they didnt really have that much music to it. it was really pretty. I also like Raiders, of course, because they're Raiders. And i thought Esperanza de Luz was a really cool show. It had some coel effects and i liked the music. But our guard had a big argument whether it was an apple in the middle of the floor, or a lime. Some people thought it was a cherry. but it was green

CRACKIT, I thought it was a kumquat. HA!

Kidding...

Their show is actually called "An Apple A Day"

So that should solve the mystery of the green fruit/veggie in the middle of Esperanza's floor.

LOL!
One mo again.

Does anyone else think it was unfair for Logan open to be allowed to restart their show half way through because their music skipped, without any type of penalty. I know it sounds harsh but I do have to wonder if anyone else would have been given this opportunity. I can't say that it was technical problems with the equipment. I saw alot of guards that day and no one else had major issues. If the CD was scratched or whatever thats Logan's problem right?

I think that it's totally FAIR. I'm sure that any other guards who's music have cut off or skipped have been allowed to start their show over.

I know, I've seen Oak Grove HS's Winter Guard in 2000 started their show over cause the music wasn't cued right... no penalties.
One mo again.

ya i definately think it was fair, because they dont know if there was a scratch in it, it could have just been someone hitting a wrong button, so i think it was totally fair that they got to start over. I know i would be mad if our music stopped, and we didnt get to start over or get penalties.
ya

I think it was fair! I mean you would want that opporunity if your music did that also wouldn't you? The only funniness about it was how they all just seemed to know when the music was going to cut out like they all stopped and waited for John to bring another cd. Granted that shows mucho professional attitudes and I'm not implying they planned it but maybe there was a problem witht he cd earlier and they were forewarned to be prepared because it looked choreographed!
