I wanted to shove his drumstick down his throat..

I swear I'm not violent.
Thats kind of mean. do you think we would get mad if you started practicing on the bus? Isn't that better to because there practice before the show? I know it annoys people though so its cool. My drumline would love to sit with the colorguard though. Most of them are very hot and they change on the bus. We wouldn't mind that.

We can't practice on the bus. Unless we did the splits in the aisle or something. I wouldn't mind if they had played together or only done it for a little bit, but a nasally annoying Junior yelling at everybody else and random drumming for 4 hours was NOT fun.

My guard is hot, I'll admit it, I brag about it to my girls' boyfriends "Haha I get to change with *insert name* and you don't!!" But we're not allowed to change on the bus.. even though we do it anyways

man i would be in your schools drumline but, they would probably change the rules when i got there just because i have that kind of luck. Its all good though. I guess that would be annoying if they were just hacking away. Just tell them its called pecking and they need to stop. If that doesn't work tell them you will hurt them if they dont stop. Hit them in that sweet spot. If they keep going. They will be mad and hurt but, hey you warned them.

dont even get me started

Post by Cymbal_Queen » Sun Feb 29, 2004 4:25 pm

dont get me wrong, i love the colorgaurd girls, they're all good girls, but why is it that all the fellas date them! i've never dated a fellow drummer,i had a hook up with 1 and then after that he kinda stopped talking to me after awhile and started dating a colorgaurd girl. but still there are plenty of good guy drummers, why do they always always have to be with the colorgaurd girls?
sorry, just a little off topic there.
colorgaurd girls will always want a drummer,in fact a lot of drummer chics tend to want drummer guys too (hint hint wink wink) :) .lol. i think its b/c of the attitude drummer guys have, they're rough and i guess colorgaurd girls like it rough :) (cant really blame them)drummers are mysterious creatures with either a dark side to them or are out-of-their-minds wild
in the end it dasically just boils down to the fact that drummer guys are hot and they have the bad boy persona and thats really attractive to a lot of girls, aspecially to 'good' girls which, in a word, sums up the colorgaurd.

Umm it's not like that at my school.

Our drumline used to be bad boys and now it's not. Our guard is all loud and crazy and hyper and I guess you could say we're good girls but that's not how I see us.

I think drumline date guard because band do the incest thing and usually there aren't too many female drummers to choose from and you might not want to cross that boundary so they just date guard. It's just a thing..

honestly thats where the hot girls are and most guys can probably agree. Of course there are hot girls in the drumline and band but, the band girls are usally taken and the drumline is too close to family. Does that some it up? Now back to the topic...

My old drumline used to be like that before i went there but it changed when i started dating them and they got to know who each them were and how their personalities were. Their was still tension in the band but, they too chilled out eventually.

Our line gets made fun of in comparison to us sometimes. Like our techs joking around "You're marching worse than colorguard" or the fact that we'll have better pushups than the manly men... I think it's funny :D
