Post by bottombass4ever » Fri Feb 06, 2004 1:30 am

I know it's extremely early in the season, but who do you guys think is gonna take the top spots in each division? Personally, this is what i think:

Div I-
1. Blue Devs
2.Cadets
3.SCV

Div II/III-
1. Blue Devils 'B' corps
2. SCV cadets
3. not really sure

but this is what i personally think. what about you? im interested to see everybodys input :D

agreed...much too early. but also understood that at this point of the season...it's all in good fun.

anywho, hopefully it'll be a great year for drum corps...all-around. innovation, and performance quality (not to forget cleanliness)...that's all i'll be lookin for. as for who wins? eh...whaaatever.

So Far I've heard the Phantom Regiment (Thanksgiving Camp), Devils (January Camp) and Mandarins (January Camp) shows and think both Regiment and Devils have shows that can potentially win. I LOVE REGIMENT SHOW... it has got to be one of the best shows of recent past:)

Here's my prediction, based solely on... well... nothing...

Div. 1

1. Phantom Regiment - After the incredible sound they produced last season, who wouldn't put them in the top 3?
2. Blue Devils - Solid corps without too many age outs could put these guys as favorites to repeat.
3. Cadets - Edge Cav's out of the top three for the first time since '98.

Div. 2/3

1. Spartans - They bulk up their hornline after a solid season last year and bring home their third Div 2 championship.
2. Patriots - They continue to finish in the top ranks of Div 2, narrowly missing the top spot by .1 or so.
3. Vanguard Cadets - A return to the top 3 after not attending Championships last season.

If Esperanza had stayed Div 2 they would be my heavy favorite...

I'll be there, I'm driving the semi for Esperanza again this season.

Oh and my predictions were based on last years performances... it's never too early to guesstimate. :D
