Small Ensemble Music, help!

Post by MusicMan » Tue Dec 02, 2003 5:52 pm

Does anyone have any suggestions for some grade 4 or 5 small ensemble music, which can be played by an eight-piece group, or some good composers?

Have you heard the Very Merry Unbirthday song from Alice In Wonderland? Well I know it's a dorky song but I'm making an arrangement for it for:
1 C Piccolo
2 C Flutes
2 Bb Clarinets

But that's the minimum instrumentation. I'm thinking about adding basson or bass trombone.
My Keys
POLY
02'-03' Synth
03'-04 Caliope

GO PICCOLOS!

Instrumentation is,
1 Oboe
1 Clarinet
1, maybe 2, flutes
1 string bass
1 trumpet
1 French horn
1 trombone
1 Alto sax

I know thats really weird, but thats what I got.

That's sounds like it will be a good arrangement.
