Orion Show

Post by crack it » Fri Jan 16, 2004 5:38 pm

Hey- I'm a member or Orion, and we have a show coming up, but I don't even know who's coming to it. I really really want to know so I can know who we are competing against. I know that all the Raiders are going (wait, at least I think), Ida Price, and thats about all I know. So if you have a list or just know that your guard is going, please tell me!

Man I don't know if Orion knows it, but you guys have a great instructor, Jason. He is so great. He taught me so many things that have really helped me out in guard. He came and helped out with Mandarins Drum & Bugle Corps. that I was in last summer. If you can, tell him "Miss Fairfield" says hi and thanks for everything, it would be much appreciated! Don't worry, he'll know who it is! thank you! I really liked your show when I went to your evals in December!

ya we all know jason is a great instructor. He instructed us at leigh for field and its pretty crazy. I've heard some rumors that i think are true that neither him or Luis will be here next year. which is too bad cause they're both so good.

Im excited to see Orion's "Kill Bill" show. My first winterguard show is this weekend at Orion's sponsored show. I believe its at Leigh HS. I can't wait to see what Orion has done with this movie. A Quintine Tarrantino movie has always been my idea for a guard show and its good to see someone taking the risk of doing a show like this. I can only imagine what they have up their sleeve.

J Martin.

I'm an Orion member... and thanks for the comment.

Our show this year is action-packed! Excitement from the beggining pose to our "Crazy 8's" flag feature.

Hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do. This is definately the most exciting show I've ever done.

Look out for our Lucy Lui (O-Ren Ishii) look-alike!

i loved Orion's show last year. i thought they got better and better every show. That floor was so cool. it looked like color swatches from a paint store. i wonder who paints their floor.

WE painted it... every single square and every single shade. It took a while but it was BEAUTIFUL. It was designed by one of our instructor's long-time friend... Alan (sorry I don't know his last name). He use to march in the days of Blue Devils World.
