I'm not going to say by any means that Madera High is the best band around, because we aren't. But I think that we have come a noticibly long way. I'm not sure if my facts are straight, but if I remember correctly, 5 years ago when Dan Talbert came to Madera the band was something like 90 memebers, and now it's double that. I think that is quite an accomplishment, and I think that we are putting up some good competition.
I don't really like these 'top 5' things though because I don't think bands from towns that aren't as known get recognized.
Life was so much easier when your clothes didn't match and boys had cooties.

Yes, Madera has come a long way. I remember seeing them in the mid-90s and they were TERRIBLE back then (on both parade and field).

we're from a really small town that no one knows about also:)
