I think thats weird how some schools think its weird to date a band person...people in my gaurd have been dating a band person sence they were in 7th grade n they are seniors now so i dont think their is a problem with dating a band person i used to...so good luck with your relation ship :)

Well I don't even wanna think about how much I would get made fun of at your school, cause I'm dating the drum major. We have lots of guard/band relationships.

The longer you guys stay together while be teased, the stronger your relationship with him will be, so good luck to the both of you.

Well inter-band relationships are common at my school. Our field drum major is dating a our only trombone player and I have had relationships with some of the guard members. Some of the best high school relationships are those in band since you see eachother soooo much during field season. thats my 2 cents :)

Sometimes band relationships are bad though because everyone likes eachother and all the drama... yeah not fun sometimes.

dating bando's

Post by RifleLova » Sun Dec 21, 2003 12:44 am

i'm surprised! i always thought it was common for band ppl to date guard ppl...atleast it's common in my regiment! i'm going out with a section leader and my friend is going out with the drum major...it's just common. for those people getting teased, who teases you??? people outside of band or people in band?
Pearl Madison: I'm only human.
Leland: How come people only say that when they've done something wrong?

Yeah it's common for us too. I mean if we tried to date anyone outside of band we'd never even see them.

There are no such thing as guys outside of band, unless you run out of options. It's like a last-resort thing.

like, everyone at my school dates band people. And most of the relationships that dont work are the ones out-of-band because we are always so busy.

Yeah it's for common for guard and band to date. More specifically, I've noticed it's more common for guard and drummers to date.

Although I'm single... :(
