I've never really liked playing sports, probably partly since I'm so bad at them.

Well once I got to high school I quit basketball, football and baseball to devote to band. I then joined basketball for the city and there is a big group of veterans and present drumline members and other members of the band that get together to play rugby. Every monday and sometimes extra days we play rugby for a few hours. It is now probably one of my favorite sports. We are planning on joining a league/union and playing against frat teams from CLU and CSUN and such.

I didn't do sports as a kid because I had a mom and dad who only believed in boys in sports. So my brother played baseball, basketball, hockey and football and I did cheer and now I do dance with colorguard. Cheer is bad I learned. So I do dance outside of school, it conflicts sometimes with weekday competitions and practices and I know it will in band camp. We take pictures and stuff and last year I had to come to camp with curlers in my hair  Everybody was asking me all day why it was like that.

Is bowling a sport? I bowl weekly, and am pretty good at it (on my Thursday night league a few days ago I bowled a 233, 236, and 223 for a 692 series).

I used to play softball/baseball and was pretty good at it, especially defensively (second base). Once in a great while I go golfing, but it's SO expensive.

I love sports, and I follow tons of them, but I'm active in very few.

When my family lived in Illinois we bowled every weekend, but then we came back to California and there were things to actually do.. jk. But yeah Cali has more stuff to do.
