Do you guys play sports?

Post by invertedcheeze » Tue Dec 16, 2003 12:02 am

I am in drumline at my school, as well as on Varsity Basketball. When we are playing other schools that i have seen at band competions, i can't help but wonder if there are people on these sports teams that are also involved in the music program. I know there is a trombone player from Mayfair High School who is also on Varsity basketball there, and its cool when we play each other because we have a connection. So what people out there play sports?

yeah, I used to play baseball. I had played music and baseball my whole life and it never seemed to conflict. but high school got really really busy, as some of us have experienced, and i had to choose before i started my junior year. so i picked band/winter drumline because i really enjoyed all the hard working teammates on drumline.

so i played baseball for 2 years and then stopped that so i could do band/drumline. :D

I played baseball up until the 7th grade, when I joined marching band. Then for 2 years I did drum corps.

Now, I play flag football at school through our intramural sports program.
