My definition of marching band is...not a band who sings for more than 10% percent of their show. Props to the people who are for real.

The good response...

band=life
"It is your destiny to be the leader who uses this event to rally a city, a nation...a world"

"Its not what you do or what you say, but HOW you do it that matters the most"

If you were to draw a Venn diagram that had the following specific set circles:

"Music", "Motion", "Excellence", "Sweat", "Pride", "Spirit", "Culture", "Cult", "Community", "Art", "Education", and "Family"

the zone of common intersect would be labeled "Band".

If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.

A marching band is a giant family, which no one inside is going to care what you do, as long as you get what needs to be done done.

FRENCH HORNS ROCK!!!
Be glad you don't have to stick a marimba on a harness and march it.

It's the friendships that you don't have at the season's start, and the frendships you keep after the season ends!

8-) ...and yes, FRENCH HORNS ROCK!!! 8-)

the above website is really incriminating to colorguard i enjoyed the band deffinitions but if u look at color guard they are very simple minded and generalize to their guard only

Omg flagratgirl, it totally is! I "recommended for deletion" on a bunch of them! Haha. There were some that were ok, but others were just stupid and made it obvious that they weren't in guard. How could they write a definition for something they’re not in?!
