at football games when there's alot more people watching you, i just tell my self and other nervous people to look at each person on the stands and that they dont really care about us and they'd rather get back to watching football!

for championships just get hyped to have fun! having fun and being focused is a powerful force

I hug my best friend, and if she's not around when I need her I just find some random person and hug him/her instead. Works for me, but the random people tend to give me weird looks.

When ever I get nervous I start chewing on my lip or my cheek, which can be bad.. I remeber are first show this season after we got off the field performing I was bleeding really bad... So now I just always have a peice of gum in my mouth so its all good now.

Post by RifleLova » Thu Nov 27, 2003 4:20 pm

then am i the only one who doesn't get nervous at all? I dont know why but really dont get nervous. i've only been nervous, it was my sophomore year (last year) and i just got so cold...i was like an ice block. i guess that's me when i'm nervous.

uhhh... what do I do when I'm nervous. hmmm... *thinking* I think I try to breathe and relax a little. I usually get nervous right before they say my band can take the field but once I walk out, I'm pretty good, I guess. I clinch my fist and close my eyes and just breath. Sure, it'd be a lot funner if there was something to punch or someone to hug, but when you can't talk or move, there's not much you can do.

I just tell myself: there's nothing to be worried about, you've run through this a thousand times, and usually I can get myself in the right midset.

i'm so used to it now, that i usually dont get nervous. If i do for some reason, and doing something dumb or something, I'll probably laugh and joke about it after it's over.

have you ever been in a situation where you are scared to death. with that kind of experience you just arent nervous for much anymore. that's how it kinda is with me.
