Talk about class...well said, Mr. Mooring. Good luck to Poly tomorrow. Riverside is proud of you and all the R.U.S.D. bands who made it to championships.

Go Huskies, Bears, Golden Pride and Rams!

Off Topic

It's a shame students come and disrespect other schools and their own school at the same time. The last thing a director needs before an important show is the added stress of dealing with a behavior problem. The internet gives you a sense of anonymity but no one is anonymous. Also everyone has an opinion but there's a fine line between an opinion and an insult.

/Off Topic

Anywho I wish the bands good skill tomorrow. The season isn't just based off one last show or awards, but of the experiences you take from the people around you.

Mr Mooring

Post by BlueStarMom » Fri Nov 21, 2003 6:41 pm

I want to publicly thank Mr. Mooring for his dedication to his Poly band program. He is an intelligent and caring band director. Though JWN and Poly have a long history of band and football competition, I hold no feelings of ill will. My daughter has several friends in the Poly band and we both hold no animosity towards the Poly band.

Again GOOD LUCK to all participating bands at both SCSBOA venues. I have to work and may not be able to attend. I will be there in spirit if not physically.

Now maybe this has all come to an end?
I think we can drop it now and focus on what means the most right now...

Hey Westlakers!

Post by VHSGuardSoxRocker » Sun Nov 23, 2003 4:35 pm

Hey to all of those Westlakers out there who wanted to party with Valencia after championships! Great job on Saturday! We (the flag team) warmed up right across from where you (the band) was warming up...You are all so cute! :P Thanks Pedro for being such a great instructor, even though you are getting birthday spankings from random Westlakers! Hehe...Muah!
