<shrug>

Maybe so, but I'm going by the results from the past two weeks. MC lost at Scripps Ranch and (apparently) Chula Vista.

Montebello has the potential to beat MC. They've been doing well so far. But still, I don't rule out MC from being successful on Saturday. They've just been hit hard with all the fires and stuff. As far as I know, Arcadia and Fiesta Bowl are the only competitions left for them. I hope they can capitalize on the time they've had off to do a great job Saturday (which I'm sure they will).

Remember, they are just predictions, and mine are subject to change. We won't find out the real winners until Saturday though. :wink:

I'm not one to make predictions, mostly because I believe groups can REALLY turn things around in a short time if they put their minds to it. I hope that ALL that bands that compete this friday do well. I know that all the groups have put their hearts and souls into these performances and to me, who comes out the winner is as meaningless as the plastic that comes with them. The important thing is that I hope that this saturday is the best performance that each of these groups has put on this year, and that every member of every group can walk of satisfied with their performance. So to you all competing saturday, I wish you the best of luck and the best of skill, and I hope the standings don't take precedence over the experiences you've all had this marching season.

I did choose RBV to take field sweeps. Their parade score may hurt their overall score for Grand Championships. Only my opinion though:

6. Kennedy
5. Rancho Buena Vista
4. Diamond Bar
3. El Dorado
2. Mount Carmel
1. Chino
SS: Rancho Bernardo
I humbly apologize. I did not see that. I will read posts more precicely from now on. I once again apologize.

A telescope would be nice...

What I meant to say though is that I won't be able to see the Arcadia show live at all. I will have to view a tape of all the performances during the weekend...thus is the life of a performer. Sorry for the confusion...good luck to everyone this Saturday. Kick some serious butt.

Thanks for all the luck wishing. And I'm flattered that everyone has put RBV, us, as SS GE. Thats what matters most to me, and it helps to have the support of fellow bandos. Also, someone mentioned the fact that RB has been hauling to get us, RBV, back. Let me assure you, RBV is hauling too.
Wow.. How do they make the holes in the Olives?... Wow...

Does anyone know how much the admission to the field tournament at Citrus is?

The issue of RBV beating RB last weekend, has a large room for unsettled conclusions as to why RBV won at the tournament. To my knowledge with no bias thoughts included, RB was not at their fullest performance level. Due to the San Diego fires over the past couple of weeks RB was forced to reschedule their homecoming to that evening. Because of that many performers were not in attendance to this past weekends show. I am not saying that RBV did not deserve the SS award I am saying RB could have given them a better run for their money had they been a complete group that night.
