Good predictions. But do you think Rubidoux will still do well in the parade?

Rubidoux

As a private instructor at Rubidoux, I have had the chance to watch this group develope over the course of this fall season. I believe the parade predictions are fairly adequate in regards to Rubidoux’s placement. The feet are now moving a lot better, and the overall sound quality is well balanced. This is a group that is definitely in contention for one of those top five spots in the parade.

That's good to hear. I'm sure it's been tough so far this year since they lost Mr. Grey earlier. I hope that they do well at Arcadia this Saturday.

Good predictions, except that you left out one major factor. Rancho Buena Vista will be there, and they just recently beat RB, and Chino just scored a 91.5 on the field. So, I think that I will change the order of field to...

Sweeps: RBV
1: RB
2: C
3: MC or ED
4: MC or ED
5: DB
6: K

ZBut they are just predictions, and mine are kinda biased, so good luck to all. I will be there, and it should be interesting.

I did choose RBV to take field sweeps. Their parade score may hurt their overall score for Grand Championships. Only my opinion though:

6. Kennedy
5. Rancho Buena Vista
4. Diamond Bar
3. El Dorado
2. Mount Carmel
1. Chino
SS: Rancho Bernardo

Rbv

I agree, rancho buena vista COULD get ss on field, however I bet after RB's lost I'm pretty sure they'll be working pretty hard to not let it happen again. And also, I was at Chula Vista and when RBV came by... ouch, I think they could REALLY work on getting their score cause parade is going to hurt them a lot at arcada, I'm very doubtful that they'll be able to pull up that score with the time given and how much work i believed they needed. I'm not saying it's impossible they'll be able to pull it off, just very unlikely. I guess we'll all find out when arcadia comes around this weekend.

im going to have to say rancho bernardo over RBV. i know RBV could be a deadlier force on the field then rancho bernardo, but if they do take it to RB on the field it won't be by alot. but since arcadia basis it as a overall sweepstakes (parade+field) this is what is going to be killer for RBV. rancho bernardo was ranked #2 last year as a parade band only trailing arcadia and even tying them once which makes me believe that their parade band score will more then make up for some points (IF) they lose to RBV out on the field.

I guarentee that this will be one of the BEST Arcadias...ever.

SWEET :)

My band (MCHS) has not really been seen. We have improved greatly (in my opinion) since the Mt. Carmel Tourny...and no one really knows how we did there. Technically...Mt. Carmel hasn't been seen and no one (but us and our director) knows what we're capable of.

We will surprise you...hopefully...for the better.

But back to the other 6a bands...it is a true toss-up. Both parade AND field.

good skill to all those competing this saturday at Arcadia!

Oh boy I'm excited. :D
