Some quick thoughts before I head into finals. I imagine it will be a shootout between Saratoga, Logan, and Clovis West. I'm surprised Homestead topped Hart, because Hart was pretty freak in' amazing, and I'm usually not one to gush about this group. Santa Theresa wins the underdog award. I had them in 15th. Oops. Well tonight I will get a second look at them. Good for them! Congrats to Live Oak, and happy 40th on winning the first BOA Grand National Championships, and being the only CA band to do so to date.

Santa Teresa doesn't have an "h" in the name!

Re: BOA San Jose Prelims Results
Thanks, Matthew. I realized that as I was glancing into my program book. (I'm writing a review, btw.) Now the REAL question: Is it pronounced "Sahntah Tahraysa" or "Santa Thereesah"? The announcer opted with the first version.Music Education wrote:Santa Teresa doesn't have an "h" in the name!
Also, I know you probably don't get a lot of credit for this, but thank you for being a pioneer with BOA in Northern California. Truly, I think the NorCal (and beyond) bands are benefiting from it, especially the smaller ones that only know NCBA and WBA. This definitely gives them a different perspective, and opportunities, perhaps, they never thought they'd get. (More on that later.)
