After 3 months of intense rehearsals and preparation, today was the first day of competition for my group. Of course we didn't do as well as hoped and I was anxious to listen to the judging "CARD" so as to learn what my group could do to improve and understand our placing. Imagine my anger when, after inserting said card, a message popped up letting me know the card had an error and could not be PLAYED!!!!!!! The score sheet was blank full of just numbers......so now, my students will not have any type of guidance as how to better out performance, UNTIL AFTER the next competition......so thank you NCBA for choosing a useless, inconvenient way of having judges "tapes".

I was very glad I was able to attend the band review and cheer on Buhach Colony. Keep up the great work, Thunder Band!♪

Wow. Great to see groups off to an early start. We're finishing drill next week and I feel super on top of things. Hope to see some of these groups in San Jose!

Congratulations to all the bands who came out to the review today! It was very impressive to watch all the bands show what they have to offer this year!

Note: Armijo won Auxiliary Sweepstakes.

that sounds like a complete disaster. according to our drum major the same issue for his tape...so no comments will help him between now and Del Mar this coming weekend. I hope my tapes will not have the same result.
