independent guards not affiliated with a school. HELP

Post by jellerylove » Sun Jul 25, 2010 6:54 pm

Ok well my friend is a male in the LA area and really wants to compete in a guard squad. He recently graduated and has been in marching ban throughout high school for all 4 years. Now, he really wants to do guard. But he's still a beginner at guard. He doesn't know much. He's willin to learn though. Is there any independent guards that are novice/intermediate that he can join?
Thanks!

I don't know which side of LA you're talking about, or how far he is willing to travel, but there is one in Thousand Oaks. I forget their name.

If you go on the WGI website, they should have a list of Independent guards.
