Post by chickenandwaffles » Sat May 08, 2010 9:06 pm

High School Percussion Scores:

Sweepstakes - Benicia - 93.7
1st - Vanden - 93.5
2nd - Mt. Eden - 93.3
3rd - Foothill - 90.8
4th - Livingston - 88.8
5th - Franklin - 73 (?)

Since when do they give percussion sweepstakes?

Didnt they give a percussion sweeps last year though?

Middle school division:

Sweepstakes- Springstowne*
1st- Grange*
2nd-Benicia*
3rd- Golden West*
4th-Wells
5th- Lacy?

MS
Springstowne= They were jaw droppers when i saw them they were better than alot of the high schools i know and saw.

Grange= They were pretty clean in marching, pit line had some really good clean runs. Miss marching in that uniform as a Mini Blue Devil.

Benicia=They had a really good snare line. The pit book caught my interest.

Golden West= Again Props on the basses really nice feature the snare were pretty alright too.

congrats spms. That was most of the drumline's first street show ever.... nerves got the best of them but I'm sure next time they go out they're gonna open some more eyes.
Looking forward to seein some lines turn it up this year...

Hey how did Vallejo, Hogan and Bethel do in the bragging rights cup? 8-) And how would they have fallen in with the competition #’s?

If the drumline scores added valljeo schools to the placing in my opinion i think this is how it should have went.

sweeps : Bethel
1st:Benicia
2nd:Vanden
3rd:Valljeo
4th:Foothill
5th:Mount Eden
