hmmm... all cymbal lines for the year of 2010 were pretty tight.
all had certain things going for them.

My favorites----

bethel's line: props. those kids definately knew what they were doing. made cymbals look a lot cooler than just carrying two plates and crashing them together. 8-)

rod's line: i loved they way the handled those cymbals. almost an extension of their hands. :yeah: (the way they should be!) (true, the cymbals were smaller than most in open this year, but no worries.) props.

my vote, Fairfield: how many kids were on that line? 6. they had a pretty big line. and got work done. true sometimes it didn't "look" as nice. but their feature was pretty BOMB. and you can tell those kids were having FUN! :D (isnt that what doing what you love?...to have fun.)
props to you guys.

overall though: I am quite impressed with all the cymbal lines this year! KUDOS. finally having people recognize cymbals as an important part of the battery and drumline; not just the place where you are put if you get cut from a drum during tryouts. cymbals players are great. much love.

nice thread. :!:
