I'm not hating on anyone else's bassline out there but Fact fairfields basses are in a class of their own! their solo was insane!! love the tuning.

Yes Fairfields bassline is good, BUT I also think Bethels basses are in VERY close competition with Fairfields and does deserve some credit. I also thought Rodriguez's basses had potential, they just didnt have that spotlight and didnt get featured as much as they could've in my opinion.

The thing I really like about Fairfield's bassline is they don't have poorly tuned drums, which have a muddy over tone sound indoors. they are super cranked and in your face! so when they're moment happens noone can miss a beat. I seen bethel and rod's line this year and they are not playing anything near the level of demand as Fairfield.

maybe their book isnt as demanding as Fairfields, but both Bethel and Rods quality and cleanliness is FAR from mediocre. Remember that the music they have was given to them, its not like they could've chose what they wanna play. Im sure if Bethel and Rods basses were given harder music they would nail it.

I'm sorry but this spread was about who had the best bassline this year!! not who had potential to be the best.
