If the percussion is going to be in a gym as small as Livermore and Granada...NCBA might as well roll dice to choose...

The venues are just pathetic...

Believe me I agree, both Sprinstowne and Jesse bethal had to deal with a very cramped Granada Gym with poor lighting. The entire Bethal drill was lost in a swirl of bodies and the Springstowne guard felt the ceilling was lower than it actually was.. Thankfully Champs will be at two school sites using only the large gym at both sites.

Not to worry! It looks like a split venue with Amador Valley hosting Middle Schools, High School Novice and Stand Still.

Foothill percussion shows should be in the BIG gym also and is running High School Advanced, Scholastic, and Open.
Should be nice :)

This should produce a crowd at each of the shows and room for the students to enjoy. See you there!

It is nice to see NINE ensembles in NCBA Open Division. Being in the land of 17-NOVICE -- Gee whiz...couldn't we have added 3 more and had an even 20??

I do look forward to seeing/hearing the open groups. The open division is going to be DYNAMITE!! My heart is for: VALLEJO!! Yet, there is some stiff competition!!!!!

To vote...attend NCBA meetings. Say "no to proxy voting." Just an idea. :soap:

JFK was at Armijo?, Elk Grove, McClatchy and Del Oro. Not sure if they went anywhere else.

Benicia or Vallejo. I know everyone is working hard out there, so in that case everyone deserves something. I just love these lines because they are very classy on and off the floor. On multiple occasions I've seen them congratulate and wish luck to all their competition. That's what I like to see!!

Good Luck everyone!

Personally, I think it's gonna be close, but I think Benicia is gonna take it. They're hella clean this year, and their show theme is pretty good. Despite all of the drama they had this year, I think they're gonna do it. Under them will either be Fairfield or Bethel.
I thought you packed the mallets!
