I had a student bring in her father's Galaxia trumpet, saying he used it in middle school. I can't find any reference to the company on the internet, but I suspect it's one of the original Chinese model POS horns. Any clues?

All I was able to unearth was that Galaxia was a brand of low-level student horns manufactured from 1984-1987, so I would guess that your assumption is probably pretty close.
