Two more weeks!

Post by ErinF » Sun Jan 31, 2010 8:17 am

Its 2 weeks until the Rodriguez winterguard show. Who's going and who's excited!! :)

I like Rodriguez because its a smaller show so its a great way to ease into the season (especially for my new girls who have no idea what winterguard really is yet). We tend to look at it more as an evals show to see where we stand with the judges. Then we have alot of time to work out kinks and change things before the Armijo/Fairfield show.

I wont be going, the first show we will go to is going to be San Mateo, and then we have Wilcox, Vallejo, and Championships( which we have never gone too).

We shall be there.

I also like this show because of how early it is in the season. It's small, the gym is nice, and it's great to have an early read on the show. And it's nice not having to spend ALL day and evening at this show. It's usually an early day for us, which is really nice!
I am NOT too old for this!

I'd rather be Dreaming... in a tree.

I'll miss your videos tao :(

Im so excited! we're going into this competition with an unfinished show like last year so we're prepared for the penalty. Other than that we're just hoping for good feeback!

High school scores

Bella Vista-64.9
John Swett-61.1
Laguna Creek-81.6
Vintage-73.6
Vanden-84.4
McClatchy-81.9
Benicia-87.6
Armijo-87.1
Rodriguez B-81.5 (exhibition)
Rodriguez A-87.2 (exhibition)

I think just about everyone in the higher divisions had an unfinished show so the scores were pretty good considering.
