On Friday (Jan 8) I received a nice "New Years" email from Don, in which he states:

"Lots of good things happening for Gold and we will be making announcements in the next few weeks. "

Encouraging news! Gold not only has produced quality Open Class programming in recent years, they also do great things for their members. AND they are one of a growing list of drum corps wearing Stanbury Uniforms. Check out Stanbury's NEW catalogue (p. 54).

Cool. Hope one of those things is to actually have a website for the corps.

great article. don is a stand up guy and has helped many of the kids that I had a chance to also work with while in casper. All of us art type folks must give the school a call or send them an email to ask about what the program is doing to keep their musical kids off the streets. we must all 'BAND' together and make sure the pencil pushers of the world leave the arts to the kids. I will make sure to give these Hathorne folks MANY calls and emails and will not accept "no comment' as a answer!

GAME ON !
