Winterguard try-outs
we have 2 winter guard try-out coming up. how would you run them? we were going to have a clinic type of setting, where they learn basics and part of a routine, and we have 2 judges (the 2 captains) is that good, what else should we have?

It depends on how indepth you want it to be. What are your requirements? Does each person have to spin a weapon as well as flag? What are the requirements on each peice of equipment? What you expect each member to be able to do will determine how long your selection process will be.

Make sure the tryouts are spread out... you don't want to overstress your team. It all comes down too the fact that you should know them and yourself enough to know how in-depth you need it. Winterguard is fast and hard. Make sure all you put on can keep up with the demand.
