Issues with former Captain and flag line girls...
In my guard we have our F.C. whos beeen having isses with some of the girls on flag line, and one of the girls on weapons line. She's an amazing performer, and a senior. She's also amazing with weapons. The girls she's been having issues with are a junior, who also has done weapons, and a freshman on flag line. The question is should we keep the F.C. and let her do her last season, and use the freshman as an alternate? I'd appreciate some feedback...

Can you be more specific as to what the issues are? It's hard to provide guidance without knowing more detail.

Without more details, for me the issue in who performs is a non-issue, because in my guard everyone performed. Whatever "issues" existed had to be worked out, even if we had to sit down and talk it completely through. Many times high school kids have issues with each other one day and the next everyone's fine.
So my initial advice? Get everyone in the same room and have an open discussion. Nothing good ever comes from feeding into the issues.

You need to sit your guard down and tell them that it is not good to fight, and that if it contiues, that consequences will happen. if consequences dont work, shut down the guard for the season.Raiderette Cheyenne wrote:Physical fights, arguments, and open hostility.

Physical fights need to be referred to the Administrator at the school in charge of discipline, and ANYONE involved in the fight should be removed from the team.

I agreed with Twinmoma. Physical fights need to be referred to the Administrator at the school in charge of discipline, and ANYONE involved in the fight should be removed/disciplined from the team. This should be in the handbook that everyone signed before participating.
All team members must get along well; else your team will achieve nothing good in a long run. I would say a good friendships atmosphere is a key for success. After all a good memory is what it counts most, not just the medals
