The Marine Band - West Coast Tour 2009

Post by Wildabeast » Fri Sep 11, 2009 7:18 pm

The Marine Band will be performing throughout the West come October.

See where they're performing.

I'm going to try to go to their performance at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco.

Went to see them last night at UCLA.

:drop:

It was absolutely incredible! And just when we thought things couldn't get any better, THE most prolific film composer in history, Mr. John Williams himself, made a surprise appearance and conducted a rousing encore to end the evening on a perfect note.

LUCKY! We had a very good turn out, and a very pleasing performance at Davies Symphony Hall in San Fran (first time I had ever been in there).

"The President's Own" was quite an experience and something I'll remember for many, many years. I really enjoyed the entire performance they put out.
