What? I can't like two different teams in completely different sports?

No, it's the implicit irony of defining a successful team.

I like Cubs and all, but this season just fell apart.

Don't the Cubs have a history of falling apart?

And last year the Avs finished in last place in the Western Conference...

I never said the Avs are currently a successful team. I never said the Cubs are currently a successful team. I was simply declaring my allegiance, as was everyone else in this thread. I do not define my support for a team by how well they do in competition. I hope my teams do well, and when they do, I get excited; when they don't, I get morose, depressed, sometimes angry for a little while.

And then.. Hope springs eternal. Another season comes around and I believe that they can win it all.

So you guys can suck it. Go Avs!

Note: I realize you're just having a little fun. Let's just say that wound is still pretty fresh.

Ah well I like to think of every season as a new start. Best of luck.

Sharks played very well last night, blasting the Avs 5-0. Now let's see if they can move onto the next round by eliminating the Avs Saturday night.

this years playoffs have been the best in a few years. So many last minute goals and crazy comebacks!

I hope Phoenix takes out Detroit tomorrow... :box:
