Question about Spinning with top hats...

does anyone know the best type of tops hats to use for costume purposes that arent to bulky or heavy? keeping in mind that we will be spinning with them the majority of the show.

something ala Glassmen 07? correct? the beethoven show.

ive been looking and testing but havent found anything to my likeing. is the plastic felt covered route the best way to go?

any feedback is greatly appreciated. thanks

My group used top hats in 07, they sound exactly like what you're looking for. They were felt-like, but starched so they weren't wobbly. They lasted the whole season and worked really well.
