The Glassmen the past few years have been late announcements. I don't think they announced their 2008 program title (Kar-ne-val) until around this time, and they never made an official announcement regarding musical selections.

The rumor I have is that the Glassmen's 2009 program will be entitled "One". I've got nothing beyond that.

Come on now, what would bunnies and sharks be doing at a circus?

Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps officially announces its 2009 program:

A New American Classic

Featuring musical selections from:

Morning, Noon and Night in Vienna Overture by Franz von Suppé
Morning Mood from the Peer Gynt Suite by Edvard Greig
Anvil Chorus from Il Trovatore by Giuseppe Verdi
Dance of the Comedians from The Bartered Bride by Bedřich Smetana
Blue Danube Waltz by Johann Strauss II
Poet and Peasant Overture by Franz von Suppé

We are still accepting brass players and color guard performers to come and join the fun!

We also are searching for two keyboard players to perform in our new synthesizer section!

The beginning of the 2009 drum corps season is just around the corner, come and see what Impulse has to offer at our next rehearsal:

Date: Saturday, May 23rd, 2009
Time: 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Location: California High School, 9800 Mills Ave., Whittier, CA 90604

If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must accompany you to sign in at your first rehearsal.

Uhhh...did anyone else notice that the Cadets almost completely changed their program? Or have I been under a rock for a while?

I thought we updated that here? :?

But yes, Holy Name Cadets switched from an all-purpose Bernstein show to simply "West Side Story" several months ago.
