Engaged/Thanks

Post by mkosbie » Tue Jun 09, 2009 11:43 am

Thanks to everyone that replied to my romantic locations thread. What I didn't tell you there was I was actually planning my proposal. I ended flying in two hours earlier and doing it in Grant Park, Ventura. The view there is absolutely stunning for anyone who's looking for a good date. It's also only fifteen minutes from Tierra Sur at Herzog Wine Cellars, which is a very nice date restaurant (http://www.herzogwinecellars.com/html/restaurant.html).

My fiancee's name is Ashira Cohen, she was in Marching Band in High School (San Dieguito Academy, Percussion) and is currently also studying in Israel. We hope to get married in Jerusalem in August.
It's 5:00... do you know where your ancestors came from?

Should you decide to have an American ceremony/reception, you might consider the Firestone Winery in Santa Ynez (Santa Barbara wine country). Congrats & L'Chaim!

I still check around from time to time ^_^

Congratulations though!!! (I'm really young though T_T). But that's awesome on how you planned this all out =]. If I knew more about the LA area, I would have contributed, but as I only live in my bubble in Riverside County, I could not assist.

I wish you two the best of luck in the future and everything works out for the best.
