So cal has several HIGH QUALITY WORLD AND OPEN class Scholastic drumlines. In So Cal there are only TWO IW Drumlines (Pulse & RCC) and two IO lines (Full Force & Garfield).quote]
Not to be picky, and I largly agree with what you're saying on this topic.
However, as far as WGI groups are concerned, So Cal also has San Diego Alternative in IO (2009 IO Finalist). Talking local circuits, there is San Digeo State in IO in SCPA, and Pasadena City College in IW in ADLA.
Again, I don't mean to nitpick, and I agree with the bulk of your argument (and obviously so do most of the members of the WGI Advisory Board). I just wanted to clarify.

Re: WGI Prop 10...
This is akin to listening to AM sports radio where a bunch of people who don't have a say act like they could do a better job. Inevitably, people start to make passionate arguments, a little tit for tat, and folks get all worked up. It was tried, went through the proper channels, the board hated it, move on. Even George Hopkins lets it rest eventually. Sheesh.
Nothing I want more than to see a senior drumline break something during a performance, and by senior I mean "senior" and by something I meant "a hip". Ouch. Sounded like a rim shot.
On a serious note, even drum corps, although they may shift the age limit, tries to keep it to college kids at the oldest. Takes longer to graduate college these days, so they kiscked out a year. No big whoop. Maybe WGI can offer an "Cougar" guard division, or a "Silver Fox" drumline division. I would SO go to that show...world championships in Florida!!!
