I personally think that Rodriguez shouldn't have won, their drumline didn't play half the time, and they were mostly skipping around and acting like little kids, which is their show, but maybe they could have had some harder music besides Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
And if you say Atwater's show, they did amazing. They deserved it, not Rodriguez.
But that's my opinion.
but they did win...judges thought they played just enough to win...forreal though..please stop hating..

Atwater lost to Rodriguez, sorry to break it to you but what's done is done.I do admit I enjoyed Atwater's show because of the clean beats but I also admit Rod brought it not only with their visual performance, complicated beats which were clean, and their pit kicks ass =) And I've watched this show before besides from champs and their battery plays more throughout their show more than other drumlines I've seen and heard! And don't even get me started on their pit,if I didn't know any better,I think they're one of the best pits in NCBA if not THE BEST.I haven't seen such musicality since old school days back in the early 2000's.
This show really blew me away.

If the early 2000's are the old days, I best start looking for a cemetery plot.

I thought Franklin's pit played pretty musically and cleaned in my opinion..

after watching that atwater champs video, I can see why Rodriguez won. Yes Atwater has technically able players, and yes they had technically challenging beats. But Rodriguez had the better overall package, presentation, concept, design, sound... i.e. the better show. And that's how the game works in NCBA, WGI, CCGC...etc.

Hahaha! Thanks for the compliment Mystery! Id rather have my kids get recognized for their advanced playing ability than anything else.
