School got tagged by lame taggers

Post by Squirtle » Tue Feb 10, 2009 9:52 pm

My school got tagged over the weekend. I just don't understand taggers... or at least these ones.
This was on our band room

Anybody else think this is just dumb? I mean I know tagging is dumb anyway, but this is a whole new level of dumb.

If I had to guess, someone in your group was among them. Most school taggings don't seem to target a particular entity on campus.

They didn't target the band. They said "Water polo rocks!" and "ROTC- Retards On Campus" and pretty much targeted every other group in school.

Same thing happened to my school last year actually. They got it like everywhere on school campus, from the back of the bandroom, to right outside our Pool area place (P.E area) and scattered throughout the campus. Got really annoying, cuz our school was pretty nice before this incident, now it looks kinda...ehh, they did a good job on cleaning it though, but the first couple of days...it kind of stood out where the taggers had striked. (I still believe you can see our P.E ones that got tagged, not sure, haven't been in that area since Dec. lol)
Sorry that happened to your school =/ Such a shame that taggers don't have anything else better to do.

So, apparently they were dumb enough to leave their "calling card".

You better not call that tagging to someone who actually tags. That is just vandalism, tagging weather it is done illegally or not, actually looks like an art, not just spray painted words. For example:

In middle school, the taggers tried to spell out "Raiders rule" but instead wrote "Riaders rule"

We later found out it was our own classmate who did it and they wrote the other middle school's name around campus in an attempt to pass blame.

That happened to our band when I was in HS. One of our "rival" schools was basically trashed saying that our band rocked and theirs sucked. It turned out to be someone from their own group though, after we gave them a massive apology card or something.

"Lame taggers" is a bit of a redundant term. All taggers are lame. Call them "artists" if you will, but they are vandals. If they want to be "artists" then they should get permission to paint the surface, or put it to canvas instead of walls.

Then again, if we cut standardized testing and the ensuing bureaucracy, we could afford art classes for these people to express themselves in a more socially productive manner.

So now our tax dollars will go to repainting the school instead of teacher's salaries, new books, music and arts funding, field trips or transportation, etc. I think that, if caught, these people should not only be forced to paint over what they have done but also buy the paint at $30 or more per gallon. Your standardized testing may go by the wayside after all.

Freshman year these kids from my school went and tagged our rivals football field. They tried to put something like "Falcons Rule" or whatever, but the dummies couldn't spell their own mascot right. They wrote "Flacons" instead...
THIS is why we do what we do.

Hah, 9 months later I see this response! It was Fairfield HS.
