Dan Wetzel's NCAA Playoff Plan

Best college football playoff plan, analysis and rationale I've ever read.

The Pac-10 is 1-0 vs. the Mountain West in bowl games!

If you could even call that a football game. In my opinion there is too much time off between the regular season and the bowl games. Both teams looked very rusty, and it would be nice to see both teams playing at their best. What was there something like 8 fumbles in that game and something like 12 or so turnovers...... anyhow, Congrats to Arizona for pulling off the upset.

That's an understatement. The end of the first half looked like an excerpt from the Keystone Kops or a Benny Hill sketch. Both teams.

The Pac-10 teams win all their bowl games. Who'd a thunk it? Maybe the season of misery didn't even last the whole season.

Or maybe the media writing the conference off as "weak" after only 1/4 of the season was a big mistake.

University of Utah goes Undefeated!!!!!!(and is the only team to do so) I'm sure they still won't be ranked number one, but booyah too all the doubters that thought we would get blown out in the Sugar Bowl. That's right Utah can play football!!!

Rose Bowl was pretty good. Long day, but awesome experience as always.

There should be only one football game per day every day! With no other games to blather on about...Bands on TV at halftime at the Fiesta Bowl!

Unfortunately, we got to hear some of Texas' extremely uninspired Led Zeppelin show (does classic rock EVER work?) and too little of Ohio State playing William Tell Overture. William Tell? What, was it a flashback show?

Oh well. Happy to get anything!

Actually I was upset they didn't let us see the Led Zeppelin show, it might have been good had they not cut to commercial 10 seconds into the first song. I had just finished cranking up the volume on the tv, and sat back to enjoy it when they went to commercial break.

The "championship" game was a definite loser...

OU did not belong there.
