KeyBored
Feeling... bored? Have some urge to make some light music? Don't have an instrument? I have the solution for you!

Excellent time waster! It makes my typing sound something out of that angry tuba video in music land or whatever. (it was posted on these forums some time ago. Think Angry Sousa God)

That's fantastic (and yes, as I'm typing this, my room sounds like a cacophony of sound).

I just realized that typing your password with this on might be a bit... unsafe

Re: KeyBored
Ooh. I think I might have just found my new "annoyance tool."
Re: KeyBored
dammit. it's a windows-only program.
Re: KeyBored
Not true. The program is written in java. It's only the layman friendly launcher UI that's a Windows only executable. Try opening a terminal window, navigating to the KeyBored2.0 directory, and typing this command:Ex Nihilo wrote:dammit. it's a windows-only program.
java launcher.Launcher
That should open the program for you. (I'm assuming you have Java installed on your computer).
Just for fun, here's some KeyBored music for you all:

Or if you're too lazy to use the shift key (me), you transpose it to a key that doesn't make you use accidentals.

Re: KeyBored
Hey! After spending the last 10+ years of my life playing music and suddenly has no instrument to play, I can't help it!. This is pretty much the only "instrument" I have consistent access to, short of composing stuff on Sibelius and hitting play.

How about a new challenge for everyone? Figure out what this song is! (yes, you have to figure the rhythm out =D)

Re: KeyBored
Doesn't work in what sense? Do you get an error message? As long as you have Java (http://www.java.com) installed, it should work fine.wjdrummer wrote:mkosbie wrote:Not true.
