Got out of class at 5, hopped on the bus, got home around 5:20, hopped in my car, voted, got back home around 5:37. What a day.

We are a mail-in only precinct (Assembly splits us in 1/2 here) ... so we voted 3 weeks ago. :)

I thought about the absentee ballots... but then I decided that I actually like going to the polls and going through the process... plus, I love wearing the sticker! 8-)

We got a sticker in our mail-in packet. :) People have been looking at me a bit weird since I've been wearing it for 3 weeks.

And it started getting covered in lint on the sticky side and refused to stick. So you put a pin through it and it looks like you crossed out "voted".

I stuck my "I voted" sticker on my ballot stub. My first election! Probably won't mean much in a few years but it does to me for now.

Who said anything about moving it from one piece of clothing to the next?
My first voting election was 1976 ... I still have my ballot receipts. My first volunteer worker election was 1972 ... I still have my Nixon/Agnew button.
